The Golden Retriever comfort dogs which served so honorably after the Boston Marathon bombing and the Sandy Hook school shooting have been called into action again.
This New York Times article covers brilliantly what these dogs and their handlers do by sharing unconditional love and comfort.
My only wish is that there weren’t so many occasions when the dogs are needed…
