Military dogs on stamps

The United States Postal Service has announced a new release of stamps for 2019 dedicated to military dogs.

The Forever stamp set includes five, four-stamp blocks (20 stamps in total). Each block has a German Shepherd stamp, a Labrador Retriever stamp, a Belgian Malinois stamp and a Dutch Shepherd stamp.

The release date for the stamps isn’t known yet; but they are going to be hot property for dogs lovers and stamp collectors alike!

The US Postal Service will soon issue a stamp booklet showing 20 of America’s best loved pets.  You can see how popular dogs are – there are 2 dogs in the set of 20!

Canada Post’s Adopt a Pet stamps

Canada Post’s Adopt a Pet stamps feature two dogs (as well as a two cats and a parrot) to promote the message of animal adoption.

A partnership with the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies (CFHS), the stamps help to spread the word that when looking for a pet, the first stop of animal lovers should be their local humane society or SPCA.
